Email Notification

Dear experts,

I am new to sap hr, need ur guidance to solve the issue.

I have a scenario , email notification should be triggered on 15th of every month for the renewal of Employee Passport. Email should be triggered to Supervisor 3 months in advance of the passport expiry date.

Is it a HR functional role or the Work flow consultant role ? I have a doubt on this .

Request some one to help on the issue.
