Redhat JDK package for Solution manager 7.2

Hi ,

For installing solution manager 7.2 ABAP and JAVA stack on a Redhat Linux 6 machine, should I install the two JDK packages on the system as per note 1172419 (Linux: Supported Java versions on the x86_64platform) for pre-requisites check.

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 for SAP

java-1.4.2-ibm-sap-1.4.2.13.13.sap-1jpp.2.el6.x86_64.rpm

java-1.4.2-ibm-sap-devel-1.4.2.13.13.sap-1jpp.2.el6.x86_64.rpm

current I am seeing the below version for java -full version command.

"1.7.0_111-mockbuild_2016_07_22_09_37-b00"

I would appreciate all your inputs and help.

Thanks in advance

    Hi Daniel,

Seems you are referring to old note.

If you run prerequisite check using SWPM it tells you about the software and hardware requirements to install Solution Manager 7.2.

    Hi Daniel.

    1. SAP SWPM will take care the JDK. it’s not require to install separately

    2. Have you refer the SAP Solution Manager Installation guide? refer the link https://websmp108.sap-ag.de/~sapidb/012002523100009367952015E

    Regards
