Hi,
I am trying to print from SAP on a printer model EPSON TM-U950, by default printed on receipt and I need to print on slip but doesn't work. I have installed the driver correctly on Windows.
I am using the device type SAPWIN in SAP.
Please help me to resolve this issue.
Thanks,

Hi Claudia,
I'm pretty sure, that the device-type is your problem. As far as I can see, there is no zebra communication supported by this model. So you need to use the RS-232 protokoll.
This is not supported without doing additional things.
There are a few third-party products out there to support it.
Maybe it is easier to move to a ZEBRA-compatible printer.
To make a easy research work trough the SAP Printer-Vendor program

Thanks for responding.
TM-U950 printer has the following paper type:
1. Receipt
2. Journal
3. Slip
I can print from SAP with device type SAPWIN, the problem is that printed on receipt and I need to print on slip.
Zebra printer is for other requirement I only need to print an invoice.

Hi Claudia,
that means you need to tell the printer, that it has to switch to slip. Is there a specific command named in the user-manual to do that?
If so, you need to figure out, if there is a replace-command in the SWIN driver defined. Messy work with a lot of non-readable stuff, but a basis-guy will know what to do.
If not, contact epson through their support and ask, if they have any experience with it. It is a very specific problem.
Maybe you get the right person on the line

Hi Claudia,
Which paper did you use for this printer? A custom one? If so what was the HEIGHT you use for this?
Also where you able to fix your issue? Thanks
