Hi all,
I have recently installed the BI Admin Cockpit in the Portal. All is working fine for my colleagues - however, a few are facing an "No Authorisation" error in all of the monitors.
The colleagues that the cockpit is working for are BW developers and they have certain BW roles assigned to them. The ones that are facing an "No Authorisation" error are Portal developers and do not have BW roles assigned to them. There are endless BW roles assigned to the developers and we can't work out which role (or roles) the Portal developers need in order to see the content.
Does anyone which BW/BW roles I need? (I have already assigned the BW_BI_Administrator role to everyone)
Thanks in advance
Dear Adnan,
Please try to assign the role again but this time be sure to check the '' Maintain Authorization Data and Generate Profiles'' (down button on Authorization tap ) if the Auth. is really assigned for both roles ( SAP_J2EE_ADMIN & SAP_BW_BI_ADMINISTRATOR )....
My Regards
Mazin

Hi,
Please check this note - 980569.
There are two roles, please check on it.
SAP_BW_BI_ADMINISTRATOR
SAP_BW_ADMINISTRATOR_BW
Thanks

I've tried doing that however, there are too many roles that the BW developers have compared to non-BW developers (portal).
Many of the difference are custom roles but I noticed that SAP_J2EE_Admin role is not assigned to the Portal users but i doubt that is the role i need. Both set of users have full developer access to BW so I really can't get my head around this error.
thanks
