VAS in GR with storage process control not creating WT for some steps

Dear Experts

I am configuring VAS in GR with SPOC. Process has 1) Unloading 2) VAS at WC VR01 3) VAS at WC VR02 4) Putaway. System creates WT automatically for 2nd step. Completed VAS activity in VR01. But it does not create WT for further move to VR02. Need your hlep. Thank you.

Here is process:-

1) ID created in ECC for 10EA. Stock packed onto one pallet.

2) ID created successfully in EWM. VAS order auto generated. Packing spec, Work center for each level determined.

3) Unloading WT created for HU of ID. Upon confirmation, HU WT for moving pallet to VR01 is created automatically from SPOC. WT confirmed.

4) Performed VAS activity at VR01 WC. VAS activity completed. This level has only Aux. Pack material. Not rel for HU creation.

    Expected Auto WT for VR01 to VR02 move. This is not created.

Hi,

" Completed VAS activity in VR01."

That means you completet the VAS order. But did you set the completion on the HU as well? Only this triggers the next WT, not the VAS order.

Yes, You have to manually close HU as completed. that will trigger another Warehouse Task.

Thanks for your response. I completed VAS level VR01 in WC VR01. Also as per suggestion closed HU. This is giving error "Only HUs with storage process control can be completed". Please refer attached document "HU completion in VAS WC". There you can clearly see SPOC was triggered. Upon confirmation of unloading task..auto created task for moving to VR01 WC.

Not sure why system says HU is not rel for SPOC. Please help.

About your point on using rule based determination in SPOC. I will change config to see if this works.

can you show what the tab "Detail 1" is showing for the HU? And where does the HU come from? You created it already in the inbound delivery or the GR area, before creating the WT?

I did pack 10 EA of product into pallet (currently in VAS VR01 WC) in ECC inbound delivery. As i am using SPOC ..needed stock to be packed to perform unloading and creating HU WT for next steps.

Even you can see SPOC determined in already confirmed WTs (Ref. attached pic).

But you are right that there is no storage process shown in HU detailed 1 tab (ref. attached pic). Does this mean till HU was moved to VAS WC, it was relevant for SPOC. Now it is not linked to SPOC

Hi,

well, that is strange that the HU lost the connection to the POSC, that should not happen, wonder what the problem is.

One other thing you can try then is the button on in the left frame, where you see the HU. Next to the button where you finalize the HU, there is a button "create VAS warehouse task" (or something similar). What happens when you use this? This one is for VAS processes without using POSC.

As I can see your WC is not picking POSC step, Check WC for vas, config and step assignment to it.

And all other look ok. At the same time use new flow. and check updates.

Hi Phani,

Have checked your VAS step. It should be in completed status. HU details 2 tab.

for next auto creation you need to have rule based in storage control , hard codeding as shown in above pic will not work as you are expecting. This is my observation in POSC.

And VAS WC movement WT will be created after VAS1 activity.

Please check I hope above instruction work trough.
