SAP Solution Manager 7.2 SR1 - Download Support Package Stack

Hello,

I just finish the installation of SAP Solution Manager 7.2 SR1 and now I´m with a big doubt regarding the Support Package Stack (SPS) for this product. Every time I finished a SAP Solution Manager installation (in version 7.0 or 7.1) I imported the latest SPS in that system because SAP provides the latest SPS in the download area of SAP Marketplace... for example, for the version 7.1 I see in "Support Packages and Patches" area the SPS 14 (four parts):

For the latest version of SAP Solution Manager (7.2 SR1), I can´t find a SPS to import in my new system! Can you tell me where I can find that as I see for all the oldest versions?

Yes you are correct it is not there but that is the current situation as of today.

We can only share what is available and documented or recommended by SAP including EGIs session recommendations as well.

Thus, either you can check with SAP when they are going to provide or else feel free to close the thread as you already aware of the procedure which are SAP recommendation as of today for solman 7.2 fresh setup.

Thank you for trying to help me but you didn´t answer to my question! I know what you mentioned but what I asked was a different thing.

As you may know before the version 7.2, SAP always give as free (in SAP Marketplace) the latest SPS for SAP Solution Manager system! You never needed to run the Maintenance Optimizer / Maintenance Planner for that and that´s exactly what I´m asking, If they also make this available or not in SAP Marketplace? Because I can´t found anything in the download area of SAP Marketplace, in "Support Packages and Patches" area. I show you by an image an example of that DVD SPS package for the version 7.1 that I see and you can see too if you go to the "Support Packages and Patches" and chouse the SAP Solution Manager 7.1 version!

Why they don´t make it available for the new 7.2 version?

Hi JD,

You need to have 2 different SIDs for Solution Manager 7.2 one for ABAP and another one for JAVA.

Hi JD,

You must have used MOPZ for SPS update until 7.1 versions, now it is replaced with Maintenance Planner.

All updates/upgrades use Maintenance Planner and we download software/stack.xml using it.
