Salray Structure change

I changed the base slabs in table V_T7INA7 and V_T7INA9, new slabs for only new joining join after 01.01.2014.

But the issue is, its also changed the salary structure of few old employees not for all employee in IT0008.

When I check IV date in IT0008, its shows the current date, when I enter the old date before 01.01.2014 in 'IV from date' then it shows the old structure.

its happened for only some employees not for all.payroll run on the base of new structure.

How we can get the old structure.

We have updated the revised salary with the start date of 01/01/2014 in the table V_T7INA7 and V_T7INA9

Created the new base slabs in table V_T7INA7 for basic and HRA and assign it table V_T7INA9 grouping.

After move the above config to production server, the employee master data for some old employees in infotpye 0008 PA30 updated automatically with the new base slabs.

I don't want to change the past values in the infotype record with the revised amount, If anybody guide me, is there any config is missing.

Hi Tarun,

Valuation of wages is based on CAP group, Pay scale type, Area, group and level.

If you do any changes say from 01.01.2014 it will reflect to all employee whose basic pay change or refresh is happen.

If you want to give a new valuation create new pay scale type for new Joiners from 01.01 and do config accordingly

structure is changed only for some employees and there is no change in there basic pay and no refresh.

For new valuation, what are the steps (configuration)?

Hi Check below steps,

• V_T510A

Create a New pay scale type for new employees

• TARIF

Go to PE03

Give pay scale type New/Pay scale area

So that for new hiring new pay scale type will get defaulted in 0008 Info-type.

• V_T510W Period Parameter Assignment

New entries. Assign period parameter 

• V_T510F_B.

New entries, Assign Currency

• V_T510

Give new pay type and maintain all entries same as for Old pay type.

• V_T7INA1

Create new allowance group or groups based on wage models you have

• V_T7INA3

Assign allowance group to pay structure

• V_T7INB1 Give allowance group with base wage and pay wage
• V_T7INA5 link allowance group and Wage model
• V_T7INA9 give allowance group and see all wages were defaulted
• V_T7INA9 Create a new slab code say XX with slabs and new %
• V_T7INA9 assign slab codes to relevant wages..

I have some confusion in last three steps,

• V_T7INA9 give allowance group and see all wages were defaulted
• V_T7INA9 Create a new slab code say XX with slabs and new %
• V_T7INA9 assign slab codes to relevant wages..

all are same tables, Can u clarify it.

The second one is

• V_T7INA7 Create a new slab code say XX with slabs and new %

Where we create Slabs with a code.

Then go back to V_T7INA9 and assign slab code to ur wage type..
