SSO with XI

Hi,

Let's say i want to call R3 from the portal where XI is in the middle and i want to use SSO.

As far as I know XI does not support SSO , what can i do?

will XI support SSO in the future,

    you can call the web service with the same user

    but restrict access to it on the portal level

    and not on the web service call level

    this is the only way you can restrict the access

    to the XI in your scenario I believe

    If the user name in the portal is the same as in R3

    can i tell XI to use the username (no password) to run a bapi in R3 ?
