"No QM info record exists for Material..."

Hello,

We have a schedule agreement we are trying to publish to ECC and getting the following error:  "PurchSchedAgreement of object type could not be changed, 00004: No QM info record exists for material....".

The QIR exists for the Material/Vendor/Plant combination.  The error is hitting on the last line item added in Sourcing.  Why does ECC think the QIR doesnt exist?  When it does.....Need to get past this error.

Thanks,

Jennifer

Edgar,

Thanks for all your suggestions!  This issue has been resolved.  The problem was with the revisions.  We created additional QIRs for revision A,B,C.  Revision D was already created.

Hi Jennifer,

can you confirm the material will correctly determine the QM batch, sample size, QM plan during goods receipt? Maybe it's not the QM record itself but another QM material configuration missing.

Edgar

Thank you for the reply Edgar,

Where are these found?

I do know that this material is not batch managed (via error msg).

Let's see, I'll list what I can remember now that could be a problem:

  • In MM02 in quality management you should have QM in procurement active and a QM control key
  • In QI02 the release date should cover the entire schedule agreement validity period
    • and should not be blocked
    • if a source inspection is defined and active there should be an valid and released inspection plan, for gods receipt and for that material/plant/unit of measure for the entire duration of the schedule agreement
      • the inspection type should be active set at MM02, quality management, Insp.setup

I think that's about it. If you could create a purchase order for that material and a goods receipt you could check at least if QIR is valid at today's date.

What about a release quantity? Do you have one?

Also, is there a revision level?

Edgar,

Yes on the two previous line items.  Remember I am in Sourcing adding an additional line item trying to publish to ECC.

Thanks,

Have you tried to create it directly in ERP? Is the error the same?

I'm a lot more confident that you have an ECC error than a interface or SAP Sourcing error. I'm guessing it might not be able to determine the revision level in this item.
