No of Days

Hi All,

I need to calculate the formula 'No of Days' during report navigation.

No of Days = System Date - Status Date.

I created No of Days as a formula and status date is coming from the InfoSet. Now how do i get the System date in the report? Is there any standard function for this? Or is there any other way for calculating No of days.

Thanks for your help.

Raj

    Hi,

Here If you are including Status date as a part of rows(i.e if you are including in Rows part of query designer), you can use 2 formula variables to get No of days in the report.

    1) Create a formula variable with

    processing as 'Customer Exit'

    Varaiable entry as 'Mandatory'

No tick mark for 'Ready for input'

    Dimesion id = 'date'.

    2) Create a formula variable with

    processing as 'Replacement path'

    Caharacterstic = 'Status date'

    Replacement variable with = 'Key'

    Dimesion id = 'date'.

    3) use the above two formula variables in a formula of the query as difference.

Create a formula variable of processing type 'Customer Exit' and assign the System Date as the value from the exit. Then from the query designer use the System Date (Formula variable) and the Statis date to do the calculation.

    Thanks.
