Much has been written and discussed on the topic of maintaining masterdata within BPS and the use of a planning function call to UPC_BW_Master_DATA_MAINTAIN to accomplish the task.
We've implemented it on our project..albeit in ALV. It works fine as far as it goes.
Now the problem: The function is included in the layouts using <b><u>WEB-Excel</u></b>. It fails. The error message returned is "Cannot display screen with plug-ins [type of termination: ABORT_MESSAGE_STATE ).
What is the 'work-around' to have maintaining master-data available in the WEB. ?
