byd batch specific quantity conversions is used for?
Hi Eric,
the original use case comes from the lubricants business, where different batches of the same material could have different densities, e.g. depending on the variating production environment. Those lubricants often are inventory-managed in KG, but handling with customers and suppliers is done in L. Therefore the quantity conversion between KG and L depends on the batch.
Best regards,
Stefan
