Checklist after query conversion from 3.x to 7.x

Hello gurus,

Can any one post me, What all the things I need to make sure Once I convert the 3.x queries to 7.x queries. Things to be checked to make sure the conversion is successful ?

Please provide me the Checklist that has to make sure after the 3.x query converted to 7.x query.(i.e CKF, RKF..........)

In order to check that the conversion is successful, one simple check would be to go to table RSZCOMPDIR.

Give your query here and check version of the reporting component. If it is 100 or higher, your queries are in BW 7.x version.

Hi,

after migrating the queries form 3.x to 7.x fallow the below steps.

1. run the all reports in RSRT and BEx analyzer, portal.

2. check the all queries all migrated are not.

3. new selections, new formulas

3.Customer exit variable

4.Virtual Characteristics/Key figures.

5.Text variables with replacement path.

6.Check for Formula variables.

7.Run time Unit and/or Currency conversions.

8.Hierarchy variables or Hierarchy.

9.Query execution using RRMX (IN BEX)

10.Creation of a work Book and refresh the work book.

11.All existing functionalists of work like copy sheet,Global and local variables

12.Excel version of queries.

13.Broadcasting a workbook and query

14.customer exit variables and formula variables.

15.BEX  broad cost settings.
