Fiori Launch Page - PAGE_BUILDER_PERS 500 connection timeout

Hello,

We have a single fiori app (TrackPO) which is working fine when directly accessed. However, we have  a strange issue when accessing the Fiori launchpage and Fiori Launchpad. One of our super user accounts is able to access each page without issue.

However, any other user that accesses the page is getting:

Error in OData response for GET "/sap/opu/odata/UI2/PAGE_BUILDER_PERS/Pages('%2FUI2%2FLAUNCH_PAGE')?$expand=allCatalogs/Chips": HTTP request failed - {"requestUri":"/sap/opu/odata/UI2/PAGE_BUILDER_PERS/Pages('%2FUI2%2FLAUNCH_PAGE')?$expand=allCatalogs/Chips","statusCode":500,"statusText":"Internal Server Error","headers":[],"body":"500 Connection timed out\r\n\r\n Thu May  1 09:26:45 2014\n"} sap.ui2.launchpage.PageBuildingService"

Error occured: Error in OData response for GET "/sap/opu/odata/UI2/PAGE_BUILDER_PERS/Pages('%2FUI2%2FLAUNCH_PAGE')?$expand=allCatalogs/Chips": HTTP request failed -  sap.ui2.launchpage.Home.controller"

The Launchpad shows a 'Failure - Unable to load groups' error. The launchpage just shows blank.

All the appropriate Odata services are activated and assigned to the local system alias. I've tested by mirroring the same access that the 1 account that works as, as well as adding to the same profiles in PFCG.

Any help would be appreciated!

Hi John,

It seems role assignment issue. You can find OData error in /IWFND/ERROR_LOG.

It was indeed a role assignment issue. I cleared out any fiori roles I had and followed the guide below.
