Hi team, I have some troubles with CR2013 accepting Excel 2010 as data source.
I found this discussion which never resolved
When I save the file as older version (XLS) and use the Access/Excel (DAO) method it works like a charm.
Connects the excel file and recognizes all sheets as tables in the file.
However when I do the same with XLSX it doesn't recognize any sheets in the file.
1) New DSN created with Microsoft Excel Driver
2) Started CR and selected ODBC (RDO)
3) Asking me for user ID and password, doesn't accept anything
If I defined an Excel file in step 1, I don't get an error message in step 3. It goes through but does not recognize any sheets in the file.
I have attached a screenshot. The correct file is XLS, the faulty one is XLSX
Any ideas?
