Just to make sure - check su53 for the user with the missing tabs.
But I don't think this is an authorization issue, in the start of transaction MM01/02 the user has an option to select the tabs he/she want to see, there is an option to save a default which skips this screen and shows the default tabs directly, check user with the missing tabs default.

Application and system security is not only limited to roles and authorizations - well said!
Ramesh needs to provide more information about silly things like validations and preventing users from changing their PIDs.
If you use silly things, then you can expect silly results which you cannot analyze....

Hi Julius,
PID change is already blocked to users and it maintained by Security team only. I even compared the parameters of both users and its exactly same. But my question is not so silly as you feel !!
Anyways I resolved this problem by revoking screen variant assigned to this user in SHD0.

I did not mean that your question is silly at all!
I meant that solutions are silly if the cannot be analyzed, such as transaction variants with user mapping to some extent.
no offence meant.
