Does SSO 2.0 work with BusinessObjects 4.1?

We have plans to implement SSO 2.0 in our environment that includes:

- ECC6

- CRM2007

- BOE 4.1

I've looked through documentation and videos but haven't been able to determine if SSO 2.0 works with BusinessObjects 4.1.

Does anyone have experience with this? Is there any documentation so support setup/configuration?

Thanks for the help.

what kind of SSO are you using with SAP NW SSO?

    1. If you use Kerberos only -> use the existing Kerberos function in the BOE package

    2. If you use X.590 or SAML, you have to configure trusted authentication in BOE -> check docu for "trusted authentication". This means that BOE is trusting the authentication of the underlying application server and here you can configure for example X.509.

There seems to be a total lack of documentation of how to use Trusted Authentication with SAPs own products. I am using the SAP Secure Logon Server to generate the X.509 certificates which works wonderfully with the GUI/NWBC.

However  all I have done with Business Objects is enable trusted authentication and enabled HTTPS with client authentication and created and Enterprise use with the same name as my CN.

I know there is more configuration to do but I don't know what SAP can you comment?
