Server name not changing in infospoke transport

Hi Experts,

I have an infospoke whose datasource is cube and destination is file stored in Application server. When I transport the infospoke from Development to quality ,the application server name in the infospoke definition shows development system server name instead of Quality system server name. I have maintained the mapping in both the systems i,e mapping b/w quality and development .

When I change manually in quality it asks for request.I don't want to create request in quality.

Could anyone help me what changes or steps need to be taken for infospoke in the quality system shows quality server name in the application server field in infospoke.

Hi Vijay,

You can edit the server name in the table RSBFILE. Or write an Abap program to change the value.

We had similar issue, Our 3rd party system is DataStage.

The DataStage has an option to update-BW. Once we trasport, we ask the Datastage folks to perform Update-BW, and that will set teh RFC connection to waht ever they want.
