Fixed Assets in B1 version 9

Hi,

The company I work for has recently swapped accounting systems from sage to SAP B1 version 9, and I am having a bit of trouble with the fixed assets module.

First of all, is there an easy way to transfer/upload our existing data from our fixed asset register into B1 v9?
I would obviously like to be able to transfer all asset data including asset number, description, cost and accumulated depreciation.

Secondly, whilst messing around in the test database, I have added assets via the Sales AR and capitalisation methods, but am struggling to check the NBV of an asset as at today?

After performing a depreciation run, when you go into the asset master data, the overview screen shows the planned NBV for the year end (cost less planned depreciation), not the NBV of the asset as at today (cost less posted depreciation).

As you will see in my screen shots, the NBV is showing as 3,750, yet in the depreciation tab it says that only April's depreciation has been posted.
Therefore I want to be able to see the current NBV at this point in time of 4,895.83.

Surely there must be an easy way to check an asset's NBV at any given time, but I am struggling to find it!

Thanks in advance for your help!
