Hello,
I am a network professional working in the past 20 years supporting Novell and Microsoft OS, applications and end users. Now I am looking for a path to start a different career.
I have chosen SAP system to start the new career, but I got many questions because its training options.
The SAP training offered on SAP website are very expensive, but for me, the worse problem is the calendar.
Because I don't have SAP skills yet, I decided do not have virtual classes but now, but, for SAP BASIS, for example, the official SAP classroom training takes 23 days (10+10+3) and I cannot stay away from my job twice in an year for 10 days (I still need the current job) and because of this I looked for others training options.
I found some training here in Toronto, where I live, that offers Evening and weekend classes. These training have classes twice an week, 3 hours each class for about 3 months with 40 training hours total.
What I would like to know is if, having this kind of training, I could get enough skills to pass on SAP Certification tests and obviously, I could be prepared with enough skills to start a new career.
Could someone here share his/her experience with SAP training?
Does someone already had training based on evening/weekend classes?
Does it works?
Best regards,
Emerson
