Email Option with respect to component

Dear All,

Looking for possibilities of triggering the email to the respective user based on the component . That means when incident status is changed or MPT/IRT status is changed can we redirect email to concern person of that component. By default understand that ticket will be raised to message processer and message creator. Can anyone guide on this.
