Text variable on a char 0CALMONTH

Hello BW Experts,

In the report I have only one infobject in the columns 0CALMONTH. I have used the varaible offset variable to show the columns 1 to 24 prevoius months. Now it works fine and when i run the report i can see the 1 to 24 months.

Currently the columns names appear as 1/2005, 2/2005 and so. Is there a way to include a text element and make it show Jan 2005, Feb 2005

Any suggestions appreciated.

Right Click on 0CALMONTH --> Display as --> Text.

that does not seem to work.. in this situation.. Any other alternatives for this scenario when the 0calmonth in the columns...

Are you sure the text is maintained for 0calmonths??

So what does it show in the report when yu set the display properties to Display As " Text "..

I believe it should display the text..

Or Am I missing something here..

you need to look at the text variable and see what it is replacing with. There are three options, key, text, and external characteristic value key. Make sure you are using the correct one.
