Mass Auto update of CK91N and CK94

Hi Friends,

My client is using mixed costing. There are thousands of materials which need change in Procurement alternative for mixed costing (CK91N) and also in Create / change mix ratios (CK94). This exercise may be required quarterly.

Limitation of above transaction codes are that it does not have functionality to perform mass update to the materials, update can be done one materials/plant at a time. Due to the high volumes of materials, it is time consuming activity to run CK91N and CK94 for each of the materials. Now, client would like to have functionality where they can change these values in mass materials before recalculating MR21 and IR prices for the yearly and quarterly update processes.

Is there any other transaction code which allows mass update to procurement alternative and mixing ratios?? Has any one worked on this requirement? Is there any FM or BADi that can be used?

If there is no T-code available than I believe mass upload program could be the way out.

It is possible if the lsmw can read the valuation type field in CK94. Because mixing ratios will be updated based on the valuation type and one material might have more than one val.type. This can be easily done if Lsmw can record the valuation type Field. I tried but I failed.. I keep on trying..

I have burnt my fingers with this

With CK91N, you can use LSMW.. But with CK94, nothing is possible, as the option to scroll down the screen is not enabled

I raised an OSS message to SAP in 2008 and they confirmed nothing can be done in this regard

We had to manually copy paste from excel to CK94 as the no of alternatives were more than 50 in our case

As long as the no of alternatives are 5 to 8, you can stil use LSMW with CK94.. But if it is too many, then you have no choice

We do not have alternatives more than 5 but need to check about possibility of having more..

For CK91N & CK94, since they need to do this activity quarterly/half yearly, therefore, client is not preferring to run LSMW by users. They requested to have upload program with Z transaction code..

I think Z program is also possible?

Hi Atul

For CK91N, there are some BAPIs.. You can ask your ABAP to search in the Tcode BAPI

You can also search in SE37 as *CKML*PROC*ALT*

I prefer LSMW because doing any change is simpler, as compared to a BAPI program
