Hi Experts,
I am getting the error 'Time limit exceeded' for several LUWs with respect to a standard function module 'IDOC_INBOUND_ASYNCHRONOUS' in t-code SM58.
I tried to execute LUW in two different ways:
1. By executing individually.
2. By executing them in a batch
In the first case, I got the error 'Function Module does not exist or exception raised'.
In the second case, I got the error after some time 'Time limit exceeded'.
Could you please advise ASAP?
Thanks and Regards,
Souvik Bhattacharjee
Hi Souvik
Can you please refer the below thread if you have not checked it yet.
It could be issue with load on the receiver system and as suggested please check work process timeout settings.

Hi Souvik,
Can you please check if any background job (SM37) is running for quite long time.
Some time long running job cause this issue. Try to fix the root cause if this is the issue, take help from basis team.

Hi,
Are you using IDOC_AAE,classical configuration instead of ICO in PI and trfc connection in sender sap system ?
If yes ,then change the classical configuration to ICO in PI and resend from SM58 of sender system.

Venkat
