Hi Team,
I am facing the Issue in determining output type automatically in the Invoice ZF2.
We are using the Output Type ZB01.
The Output Type is getting determined automaticcaly in the Invoice if I am maintaining the condition record for Sales Org/Billing Type with Transmission Medium as 5 and Dispatch Time as 1 or 3.
If I am maintiaing the same condition record with a combination of transmission medium as 5 and Dispatch Time as 2
The Output ZB01 is getting determined in the Invoice. I have enclosed the attachments for your reference
Please let me know what may the Issue and possible solution.
Sorry I am not able to attch the attachments
Thanks
Farhan
Hi,
Transmission medium 5 is External send.
Is your requirement is to send it to any other system ?

Hey Farhan,
Dispatch time 2 is not for "set it and forget it" becoz for dispatch time 2 the time and date is also required like on what date and time it will triggered.
During the creation of condition record you can enter the data in communication method but you cant mention the date and time that is why it is not triggering the condition record.
Try it, Go to VF02 --> select the output type --> click at further data --> change the dispatch time to 2 --> and try to come back
System will not allow you till you mention the specific date and time.
When system trying to determine it from condition table then this time is missing and condition record not determined.
Hope it helps
Thank You

Hi Mayank,
Thanks for your reply. My Issue is if the same output ZB01 is getting determined using the combination of Transmission Medium 5 and Dipatch Time 1 or 3. Why it is not getting determined in Invoice when I am maintaining a combinsation of Transmission Medium 5 and Dipatch Time 2.
Once it gets determined I can give time and date in further data in Invoice. But unless it doesnt gets determined I cant proceed further.
Please let me know what is the root cause.
Thanks
Farhan.
Hi Farhan,
The combination you are talking about, SAP not provided for creating the master record.
Just think from that point of view, Master data we are setting up so by next time we dont need to do it manually and it will consider the same inputs again and again (Like the pricing condition record)
But the condition record you are talking about it required one time, suppose if SAP allow you to create a condition record with specific time and date then what would be the benefit of that record. system will use that record once and after that it waste (becoz the record is date and time specific) you cant use it again.
option 1 and 2 is same, The only difference is in option 2 you are specifying the time which you cant do it in records. Its a one time activity and you have to do it manually.
Hope it clears
Thank You

M T
