Depreciation to start on post capitalization date

When I use post-capitalization in tcode AS01 the system does not calculate catch-up depreciation from a prior year but only from the beginning of the current year.

Scenario:

Asset is created with a post-capitalization date of Jan 1, 2006 with a useful life of 10 years. Currently deprecation will only catch up the expired periods in the current year but not in any prior fiscal years. The asset will start posting depreciation in the current year (2014) and will post for another 10 years ending in 2024. What I want is for the asset to post catch up from 2006-2014 and then only post the remaining two years (2015 & 2016). Thus the asset would be fully depreciated in 2016 not 2024. Please advise which settings to use in the depreciation key. I am using these current settings:

Dep type: Ord. depreciation

Phase: From the start of depreciation

Base method: 0009

Decl.-bal. method: 001

Prd cont: 008

Multilev. method: 052

If you know what changes I need to make please let me know.
