Hi Rana,

Put your import DVD's to local drive rather than NFS, it should help.

os.name = Windows Vista

os.arch = amd64

os.version = 6.0

Do you have a supported OS?

Import directory '\\172.16.3.47\sapsource\export\exp1\EXP1' does not exist;

Is this on the local machine or a drive shared from another machine ?

Hi Rana,

Quick look into the logs explains that export DVDs are not available

Required system resources are missing or not available:

  Import directory '\\172.16.3.47\sapsource\export\exp1\EXP1' does not exist;

  Import directory '\\172.16.3.47\sapsource\export\exp1\EXP2' does not exist;

  Import directory '\\172.16.3.47\sapsource\export\exp1\EXP3' does not exist;

  Import directory '\\172.16.3.47\sapsource\export\exp1\EXP4' does not exist;

  Import directory '\\172.16.3.47\sapsource\export\exp1\EXP5' does not exist;

  Import directory '\\172.16.3.47\sapsource\export\exp1\EXP6' does not exist;

  Import directory '\\172.16.3.47\sapsource\export\exp2\EXP7' does not exist;

  Import directory '\\172.16.3.47\sapsource\export\exp2\EXP8' does not exist;

  Import directory '\\172.16.3.47\sapsource\export\exp2\EXP9' does not exist;

  Import directory '\\172.16.3.47\sapsource\export\exp2\EXP10' does not exist;

  Import directory '\\172.16.3.47\sapsource\export\exp2\EXP11' does not exist.

Suggestion is to make this path available and then proceed.

Ideally as a best practise we should be copying all the dumps to local drive and performing the installation. Using dumps from a shared path creates lot of issues as the one you faced.

Hope this helps.
