Bex Analyzer Filter 0CALDAY problem

Former Member

Hello,

We having a problem in our BEX Analyzer, when we are filtering the characteristic 0CALDAY with a interval range based in the last days of a month (Example from 21.03.2014 to 25.03.2014), the Analyzer shows the messsage error "For characteristic 0CALDAY, enter value in a permitted format". But if we put the range 01.03.2014 to 20.03.2014, the Query executes without problem.

The same occurs with other months either.

Examples:

Report:

Filter range 01.03.2014 to 20.03.2014:

Filter range 21.03.2014 to 25.03.2014 (PROBLEM):

The same filter, but in single values format:

Could anyone help me to solve this problem?

SAPGUI version 7.03 patch 7

BIAddon (Anlyzer) patche 6

Thanks in advance.

Do not select the range from History. Instead select from Values Ranges option( 21.03.2014 to 25.03.2014) and move to right side in selection screen.

Hope your calday variable is in default values pane in query.

Hi Suman,

The problem occurs even If I filter from Values Ranges.

The problem is with the values, because If I filter a interval up to the day 20 it works.

It's seems like a limit, I don´t know if we have to configure that.

Thank you.

Is your variable in default values pane?

There is no such limit to filter with other dates. Try to run whole month data. After that try to filter only 21 st to 25th to see how it behaves..

No, there is no values in the default pane.

I did the test that you said, and I put the print images in the first post.

Keep your variable in default values pane in query designer and then test your report with filters in analyzer..

Hi Suman,

There is no variable, it´s a directly filter in the characteristic in the lines of the report.

Thanks

Have you hardcoded the range restriction to calday in filter pane in the query? If yes, what is the range?

Hi Phani, thank you for the tip.

But the problem is when I put only some values, example 21.03.2013 to 30.03.2013; 21.02.2014 to 25.02.2014.

If I put a interval below the day 21, it works.

Thanks

Hi Suman, There is no filter in the calday. It's a characteristic that is in the lines of the report. And there is nothing in the filter or in the default values.

Thank you.

Seems like issue with calday format which you entered.

Can you try like this way, use calday format as 21/03/2014 to 25/03/2014 and let see

Hi Ramanjaneyulu,

I tried to put in that format , but it doesn´t work. the problem is with the days higher than the day 20. If I put 01/03/2014 to 20/03/2014 it works. But If I put 21/03/2014 to 22/03/2014 it doesn´t work. If I put only the day 21/03/2014 it works.
