ESS/MSS UI5

Hello,

we are planning to implement the ESS/MSS on UI5. The current system is on EA-HR 607 SP22. After activating the necessary business functions, in the PFCG I see two UI5 roles for ESS and MSS viz. are:

1. SAP_EMPLOYEE_ESS_UI5_1
2. SAP_MANAGER_MSS_CR_UI5_1

When I check the Menu of these roles, only the landing page i.e. the Overview page is in UI5, the rest are all still running on the WDA. I am not sure how these are treated as UI5 apps?

Please let me know what am I missing here.

The following SAP help documentation should provide details

It mentions SAP provide a landing page with certain LANES and Applications based on SAPUI5

If this is missing its possible

1) A pre-req is missing

2) Configuration as detailed in the SAP help above is needed

its correct, only landing pages are in UI5 and ultimately it ll launch the WDA services as before in EHP6 etc. With Fp4 Hr renewal, we have new landing pages on Ui5 and some very few services on UI5 and rest will be WDA, what you see is correct http://scn.sap.com/community/erp/hcm/employee-self-service/blog/2014/04/18/hcm-ehp5-ehp6-and-hr-rene...
