TIMES conversion ins not working

Hello,

While loading the data i am getting an error "Characteristic value '00000000061476 ' of characteristic 0TCTTIMSTMP is not TIMES -conve".

This error is coming after upgrade to 7.3.

The Info object for which i am getting this error is using 0TCTTIMSSTMP as reference characteristic.

Source info object is length 6,target info object is length 14..

Have you recently created data flow?

Recently upgraded to bw 7.3?

At which step your getting this error message? while loading to psa or dtp load?

Have you tested at  RSA3?

Please refer note - 1713932 in incase of newly upgraded to bw 7.3.

Hi Raman,

Yes we have recently upgraded to 7.3

Error is coming while writing the data to fact table of infocube from DSO through DTP.

" Error while updating to target "  " (type INFOCUBE)".

Data flow was same before upgrade and was working fine without any error.

Note " 1713932 - Char value '20120321143760' of 0TCTTIMSTMP is not TIMES-conv" is not working for us.

Mean while on Google please search for a blog by using search term "SAP BW 7.3 Upgrade Issues and Solutions".

Along with note(1713932) you need to some manual steps which mention in that blog ,that may helps.

Later you can raise oss message to sap support if needed.

You should map to time object 0TIME if you are trying to load tIme value.

In case you have timestamp value then map to 0TCTTIMSTMP this infoobject.

Please check the same.
