User Locked Automatically.

Hi Gurus,

Our one SAP production user found locked in every morning ( Which have SAP_All Profile), we have a policy after 5  wrong attempt  user get locked, and after 15 days new password require, so I request to you please help to resolve the issue and how to check the problem step by step.

Please co ordinate with Basis Team & ABAPer - and we need to define Scheduled Job for every 15 minutes - job will run -

and we need to write code in Z Program  with ABAPer that logic

and assign program in SM36 add in step - give program Name

then it will work

Hi sir,

We are not using any parameter as you mention above but not able to attach the. xls file please suggest me, how to attaché the SM20&SM21 logs.

Hi,

You can use report rspfpar for parameters with default & amended values.Just execute the report & export into txt or xls. Similarly for SM21 & SM20 logs by opting System--->List ---> save --> local file.

Then attach the required logs.

I have already  download the SM20 & SM21 logs in .xls file, but how to attach the logs for you.

only showing to attach the image, insert video and link, no option showing to attach the word and xls file.

Hi,

The easiest way to track which connection is locking the user, is to activate the security audit, t-code SM19.

Then use SM20 to see the results.

Hi,

On SM19, you have to create a profile and then activate it.

On that profile you can specify an user or all users (*). I prefer to have all users and then filter on SM20.

Share the parameters on your system first & system logs SM21 with audit logs SM20.Also confirm parameters which i asked in my earlier reply

Are you using parameters login/password_max_idle_initial  &   login/password_ max_idle_productive.

This user may be part of one of the RFC or maintained in some other system with wrong password and when the connection kicks in the user gets locked after 5 attempts due to wrong password.

Check the trace files in \usr\sap\<SID\D*\work\dev* directory
