SSO through Webdispatcher

Hi Experts:

We have recently configured our Fiori server running on 7.5 NW. Kerberos/SPNego has been configured for GUI and HTTPS access. One of the apps(Recipe Finder) that we are implementing requires a Hana server. Based on that requirement we needed to configure a Web Dispatcher server. Everything is working as expected, however, when we access the Web dispatcher link it does not sign the user automatically. It sends the user to the Fiori Login page to authenticate. Now, is it possible to configure the SSO between the web dispatcher and the Front end server(Fiori) using Kerberos/SPNego?. We have not been able to find any document stating that it cannot be done.

Note: We have imported the web dispatcher certs to the front end server and visa versa. But still SSO does not work.

We will appreciate your guidance on this.

Hello I'm looking for same answer. Did you find any?

Hi Ilke,

just add the Web Dispatcher's hostname as second SPN to your system's AD-user account.

Thats all. Web Dispatcher itself is transparent to the SPNego handshake.

Regards, Lutz

Hi Ilke:

Lutz is correct. Just add the entry to the Service Account you created in AD.

I end up using saml for our configuration.
