Dear All,
I have a problem with SAP GUI 720. I'm on windows 7 64-bit. History is not working for me. I installed SAP recently. Setting are all as expected. I tried deleting mdb file but it didn't work out.
Any suggestions. I need to work with SAP GUI 720 as it is the standard in my organization.
Many thanks in advance.
Joseph
Hi Joseph,
What is the patch level of your SAPGUI? Of course, you know that 7.20 is no longer supported, but if you must work with that version, you can still download the last patch for it (pl17) from the archived support packages area. That may help with the issue.
Regards,
Matt

Hello Yousef,
To get more information, capture a localDB trace from the frontend.
This will tell us what is happening with the history
Please capture a History Trace,by following the below steps, and
attach the file to the message.
1) Open a GUI session
2) Press ALT+F12 => Options => Traces => Session Trace
3) Select 'LocalDB' from the trace listings.
4) Click Apply and OK,and recreate the issue again.
Upload the resulting trace files.

Hi Joseph
I know there was an issue with SAP GUI 7.30 PL 5 (see Note 1899617), but I would always suggest to update to the latest GUI and patch available. You can download them here: https://service.sap.com/swdc
Kind regards
Jann
