DOUBT About OMET indicator....

Hello Gurus,

Could you please let me know which is the meaning of the "Adopt PO Price" in OMET t-code? I have already display F1 above this indicator but it si not enough clear for me whether this indicator is selected it banned to change the PR price while creating a PO with reference to or it means that the PO will adopt for default the PR price but it is also possible to change it in the PO creation....

Please Advice.

Hi,

In t.code OMET, you can define a functional authorization  and choose adopt PO price. Also
you need to select check box of "Ref. to Purchase Requisition" which result copying of valuation price of PR to PO automatically.

But you need to assign value of functional authorization ,your user ID with parameter ID EFB in t.code SU01 & save.

When an organization want to set PO price as per material price, then this option is used for this purpose.

As we know PR takes the valuation from material master record (material price).

If you set the function from OMET, then you will be able to fetch the price from PR to PO.

Hello

The indicator provides user the option of adopting the PR price into PO. User can perform this only if the right functional authorization is assigned to the user ID.

This is defined in the functional authorization and can be assigned to the user profile. Please check table USR05 for functional authorization assignment.

Hi,

   If you maintain the "Adopt PO Price" indicator in OMET against the function authorization and maintain the function authorization against EFB parameter ID in SU3 - parameter tab, then the PR screen will have the option to select whether the PR price is to be adopted to PO as shown below:

   That is, if the user is authorized with the function authorization, then the user can define in PR itself, whether the price is to be adopted to PO.
