PO 7.4 - Testing payload from "Configuration and Monitoring Home"

Hello,

I am working on PO 7.4. I want to test a payload from "Configuration and Monitoring Home". However, in the "Testing" tab, the option to test the payload is not available. Is this option not available in PO 7.4? Only cache connectivity test exists. I have attached a screenshot for reference.

Hello Mateen,

this feature is only available in the latest support packages. Please take a look into the following note. I believe it was implemented for the first time in 7.40 SP06 and 7.31 SP12

Hi Mateen,

The way I suggested is a proper to get the payload.

Another way to get a payload is;

Go to;

     Configuration & Monitoring

          --> Adapter Engine

                    --> Communication Channel Monitoring

                              --> Select the channel

                                        --> Message Id

                                                  --> Open Message (Pop-ups must be allowed).

You will see the Payload tab there.

Hi Mateen,

you can of course go to http://<host>:<port>/rwb but alas! till SAP PI 7.4 single stack Service Pack 5,

you can't send a test message via it. Not aware of the latest Service Packs whether they provide it or not.

Go to Monitoring --> Adapter Engine

                                   --> Message Monitor

                                              --> Select the message

                                                        --> open message ( Make sure pop-ups are allowed).

You can also Resend & test the message/payload.

Hi,

use this blog to send the message from runtime workbench.

you have to use url http://<host>:<port>/rwb/index.jsp to open rwb.

Testing tab is available in 7.3/7.4 dual stack. but still if you click on test message it will take you to run time work bench only. 

so open the run time work bench. and follow the first blog to send message.
