How can I sell 1/2 unit of an item?

Hi guys,

We are new to SAP (9.2).

We are storing lets say 20 metres of rope as 20 items.

Now I want to sell to a customer 5.5 meters of rope, but SAP doesn't allow decimals.

Please help!

Hi Torge,

B1 actually does allow decimals, but in this case you have set up the item with a base (=smallest possible) quantity of 1 meter. You will have to set the item up with a smaller unit like decimeter or centimeter.
