Hi Team,
Would it be possible to set up a weekly or monthly report that would run automatically and be sent to the controllers including all FF activity for them to review?
Looking forward to hear from you.
Regards,
Sindhu
Thank you for the reply Alessandro.
Yes but my client requirement is to schedule FF logs weekly/monthly.
Is there any jobs to schedule?

Sindhu

Hi Mamoon,
Yes we can schedue consolidated log report via background with date and time in NWBC, but is there a way where the background job is scheduled automatically after regular intervals.
And one more question what is the difference in the below parameters?
4007-Send Log Report Execution Notification Immediately.
4009-Log Report Execution Notification
By setting 4007 parameter to No, the log notification will not be send immediately, but for 4009 is there way where we can schedule job automatically by setting this parameter as yes.
Looking forward to hear from you.
Reegards,
Sindhu
Dear Sindhu,
regarding parameter 4007 / 4009.
The application can send log reports to controllers. The application sends the notifications as emails or workflow items based on the configuration of the controllers (see in NWBC). By setting the paramater 4007 to YES the application sends notifications when the user chooses the Update Firefigther Log (available in report Consolidate Log Report) button or runs the program (GRAC_SPM_SYNC_LOG_SYNC_UPDATE). If you set 4007 to NO the application only collects the logs when you run the program or Update Firefighter Log (as above). The notification sends the email when the GRAC_SPM_WORKFLOW_SYNC program is run. Means when the workflow has been started.
If 4009 is set to YES the application sends notification to the controller when a user runs a log report.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Alessandro
Dear Sindhu,
GRC offers the functionality to send FF logs immediately after usage (parameter 4002). Also with the standard MSMP workflow the proper controller has to review and approve the workitem.
From my point of view it makes sense to send the workflow immediately after usage instead on a monthly basis. In one month time a firefighter can be used many times and to check and verify the log report after 30 days might be difficult for the controller.
Looking forward to hear from you.
Regards,
Alessandro
