Application Integrator "Save As Template" Problem

Hi Portal Knowledgeable Ones,

I am running SAP EP 6.0 SP13.

I uploaded file com.sap.portal.howtos.webapp.par into my development portal. However, when I attempt to create a "System Template" using this PAR, the portal is NOT giving me the radio button option to SAVE AS "Template" or "System". The radio button does not show up at all. The portal does prompt me for the other values that the documentation indicates will be there (System Name, ID, Prefix, Description), but this radio button is not there.

I tried just saving it, but the portal created it as a System and not a template.

Any thoughts?

Kevin Haller

    Hi Kevin,

    1. If you haven't already done so, select "show all" in the category dropdown.

    2. Look carefully, It's there. Perhaps in a slighly different name ("Object is Template" with yes/no radio buttons, IIRC).

    Hope that helps,

    Yoav.

Thanks Yoav!!!! Your reply solved my problem. The documentation indicating that a radio button existed was for EP6 SP2. I guess this changed sometime before SP13.
