Hello
I should start by saying i am not trained nor have any previous knowledge of SAP products.
I have performed an installation of Crystal Server 2013 on a Windows 2012 R2 server with an Oracle database back end. I also migrated the data from the BI2 installation currently in use to the new installation.
I need to setup Windows AD integration for CMC and i have followed this guide, ignoring the SSO part as we don't really need that - http://davidlai101.com/blog/2015/02/03/setting-up-sap-businessobjects-single-sign-on-based-on-winad-...
I can go to Manage Servers with Central Configuration Manager and login with my AD credentials, no issues. However when i try to login via AD on CMC, i receive this error - Account information not recognized: The Active Directory Authentication plugin could not authenticate at this time. Please try again. If the problem persists, please contact your technical support department. (FWM 00005)
I've also run a kinit on my AD credentials on the server and received the following error - Exception: krb_error 6 Client not found in Kerberos database (6) Client not foun d in Kerberos database KrbException: Client not found in Kerberos database (6) at sun.security.krb5.KrbAsRep.<init>(Unknown Source) at sun.security.krb5.KrbAsReqBuilder.send(Unknown Source) at sun.security.krb5.KrbAsReqBuilder.action(Unknown Source) at sun.security.krb5.internal.tools.Kinit.<init>(Unknown Source) at sun.security.krb5.internal.tools.Kinit.main(Unknown Source) Caused by: KrbException: Identifier doesn't match expected value (906) at sun.security.krb5.internal.KDCRep.init(Unknown Source) at sun.security.krb5.internal.ASRep.init(Unknown Source) at sun.security.krb5.internal.ASRep.<init>(Unknown Source) ... 5 more
If anyone can provide some guidance i'd greatly appreciate it, i'm out of my depth and really need to get this up and running
Thanks
