Unable to view Crystal Report's in NWBC

Hi All,

I have published the standard crystal reports from BW to BOE using /crystal/rptadmin tcode. Now I can able to view

the Crystal Reports in BOE Repository (CMC / BI Launchpad) using SAP User. I have enabled the SSO authentication and I need to view these Reports in NWBC.

I can able to view the Root Folder, Sub Folder in NWBC, but unable to view the Crystal Reports. Can anyone help me to view the Reports in NWBC.

I think the problem might be in the Crystal Report URL

<BSP_PROTCL>://<BSP_SERVER>/sap/bw/ce_url?(ce_protcl):(DS)(ce_server)/(ce_path_pr)/viewreport.csp(Q)bw_id=0CR_FIAR_M20_Q0003&sap_sysid=(sysid)&sap_client=<client>&language=<language>

Hi,

Found the solution, Crystal Report URL should be as follow

"http://<BOSERVER IP / HOST >:8080/BOE/OpenDocument/opendoc/openDocument.jsp?sIDType=CUID&iDocID=<Report IDOC ID>&apsauthtype=secSAPR3&apsuser=<SAP USER>&apspassword=<SAP PASSWORD>"

In NWBC, create a Node as "Web address or file" and give the Text = <Crystal Report Name> and Web Address or File = <Provide the above URL of appropriate Crystal Report>

Embedded Crystal Reports are now available in NWBC

Is this the only way to embed Crystal reports or Infoview in NWBC?  Is there no way to setup single sign-on using SAPR3 authentication so that users logged into NWBC have full access to BI?

Hi Shane,

I have configured Single Sign-On and SAP Users have full access on this, still unable to view the Crystal Reports in NWBC. So I have done workaround as mentioned above to achieve this.

Please go through the below link to get better idea.

Displaying Data from Queries Using Crystal Reports - Embedded Analytics - SAP Library

I don't think that is a great work around... it forces me to embed a username and password in the opendocument URL - this doesn't give me any security control over who see's what report(s)

When you are defining Enterprise System using Content Administration Workbench, you would have imported the Active Roles. The Users who have assigned to that Role only can access the Crystal Report's.

I am not an Embedded Analytic's expert   still I didn't give up.

Thanks.
