BI launch pad cannot connect to the server.

Getting error when trying to View/refresh WEBI report through BI launchpad. BO recently upgraded to BI 4.2 SP3?

"BI launch pad cannot connect to the server. Close the report panel and try to connect again or see your BusinessObjects administrator"

Any thoughts any one.

Already checked :1679730 - Error "xxx cannot connect to the server. Close the report panel and try to connect again or see your BusinessObjects administrator"'

&&

1602146 - Error "Ping: InfoView cannot connect to the server. Close the report panel and try to connect again or see your BusinessObjects administrator" in BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 3.1 SP3 FP3.2 or higher

NO help.!!

Any suggestion any one.?

Hello Sukesh,

Have you got any solution for this issue, even we are getting same error .

SAP BO version 4.2 sp4.

Issues like that, when existing KBA's are not helping should be investigated by SAP Support. (BI-RA-WBI) component.
Alternatively, if you want to do your own investigation, start with End to End trace. KBA

hello,

Even I have seen this error in 4.2 Sp3, But the case of when we were duplicating the query tab it was throwing this error. But when we add as new query with same objects this was not encountered.

il facing the same issue after an upgrade from SP2 to SP 3 in a SAP BI 4.2. did you resolve this isuues?

For now , we noticed it with 1 report. Yes WPS is running and enabled.

What is the source of the report?

If universe check in the universe same class if two objects are same with objects name.if you found then rename one object

is this happening with all reports or specfic?

Webi processing server is in running mode?
