Copy R/3 product catalog

Is it possible to copy a R/3 product catalog to CRM ?

If yes, how can I perform this copy ?

Hi Sebastien

As far as my understanding you have got a product catalog in R/3 and want to download in to crm.Use R3AS(MIDDLEWARE)to migrate from r/3 to crm.The url which you sent me talks about the activate catalog areas this you got to do only after the successful migration from r/3 to crm.

Yes Gareth, you are right : I have a product catalog in R/3 and I want to upload it to CRM.

But the URL I sent did not lead to the good page...

The following one is better I think :

You can very well create product catalog in CRM.What happend to the mogration from R/3?

Hi Raj,

Well, concerning the product migration of product catalogs from R/3, I stopped my investigations, as I know now how to create them directly in CRM.

Now, I am just searching how I can migrate my R/3 products with R3AS...

For the moment, it seems that I have a hierarchy issue, but I want to investigate further before asking more help

I will add a new response to this thread to keep you informed of my progression

Well, I wanted to copy my product catalogs from R/3 to CRM because I did not manage to create them directly in CRM... And I have just had an answer from an other question on the forum, and now I am able to create my product catalogs on CRM !

Thanks for your answer, but I cannot download any documents with my SAP Download Manager (however I use my SAP customer account...).

For information, I found something on product catalog migration from R/3 to CRM here :

I configured R/3 in order to send generated IDocs to CRM, but it does not seem to work : on R/3, the status of my generated IDocs is 03, but when I try to check data in interim tables of CRM (see http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm40/helpdata/en/74/1cdf38391caf0fe10000000a11402f/frameset.htm), I have the error message : "View cluster COMV_PCAT_MIGR does not exist".

Do you have any idea about this issue ?
