FTP error Socket connection timed out:

hi!! I´m new user in this post.

I have a problem when i try to connet with my FTP server.

I execute the sap standar program RSFTP002 in Xi machine and with the same user that enter in Xi integrator and Configurator. This program runs correctly and i can see directory structure into FTP server. But when i define a communication channel and activate, free cache, etc, the status is OK , but the message that appears in monitoring adapter is :

- 2005-11-17 10:30:30 MET: Processing started

- 2005-11-17 10:30:20 MET: Error: Error connecting to ftp server '10.80.217.6': ConnectException: Socket connection timed out:

Please can everybody help me!.

    Check the following notes,

    849089 - XI 3.0 File Adapter: FTP Timeout Handling

    889410 - XI 3.0 FTP Adapter: Stream / Socket already closed
