Hi matez,
I do not seem to see any Authorisation changes that I make in my Role : JHN_ROLE of which the Profile Generated is T-BD620012 to actually appear in BEx
I have a User ID: REPORTER created in SU01 . It has the following properties
Role : JHN_ROLE
Profile: T-BD620012
S_BI-WHM_RFC
My Role: has the Authorisations and User tab as green.
Here I use Authorisation Object S_RS_FOLD and have set the value as true.
Also, I have assigned this role to the User ID.
However, when I launch the BEX Analyzer I can still see the InfoArea Tab with all the other sub InfoArea

Hi,
Try this, in PFCG, for the role JHN_ROLE in change mode, from user tab,Click on 'User comaparision' .(this has to be done every time after modifying the roles).
With rgds,

Hi Andy,
Nope.Profile only contains S_BI-WHM_RFC and the other 2 of my JHN Role Profile.
Hi Anil mate,
Tried that as well. The User tab is green as well now.
However, the change doesn`t seem to appear.
Could it be because I made a copy from SAP_ALL Role then only made the Restriction of Application Info Area in S_RS_COMP as below :-
Activity : 03
InfoArea : 0CO
InfoCube: *
Name of Reporting Component : *
Type of Reporting Component 😘
Do I have to restict in any other place as well ?
At the moment, I can see all the InfoArea's as well as Execute/Delete/Create queries ?
Pls assist me to get this Authorisation working
Anything else I could try mates ?
Don`t seem to see anything missing...
BTW, which SAP Authorisation Template should I be using to have the Authorisation done per Application Area.
As in, I need Finance Role to be tied to Finance users only and HR user to be tied to HR Area strictly.
Please help !
