In my project, we are using global employment. When an employee is moved from a country to another country, new personnel number (old country personnel number is terminated) is created but ID is same. We have 2 rules for base entitlement of Quota:
i)Seniority 0 to 6 years then Base Entitlement 15 days per year
ii)Seniority 6 to 14 years then Base Entitlement 16 days per year
For an employee, he is hired in a India from 01.01.2014(with new personnel nuber) but he was working with organization since 2005(old and terminated personnel number). So, how seniority is calculated defined in base entitlement configuration? Will it consider, seniority as 3 months as new personnel is valid from 01.01.2014 or it will check IT0041 day types?In IT0041, company start date is June 2005.
Please guide me to understand the seniority functionality used in base entitlement configuration.
