User guide for the "Business Warehouse 7.4 SP5" request

Hello all,

Thank you for providing cloud instances for BW 7.4 ( App: SAP BW Powered by SAP HANA - Trial Offer | SAP HANA) .

The creation of the instances are successful, I could connect to both the netweaver server and the hava server from the fontend instance.

Looking at the "user guide" ( https://caldocs.hana.ondemand.com/caldocs/help/Exploring%20SAP%20NetWeaver%20BW%20on%20SAP%20HANA%20... ) , the introduction refers to BW 7.31 instead of BW 7.4. Also the SID for the netweaver instance is BWH in the documentation. In the server instance, the SID is A4H.

Is it possible to have an updated user guide for the CAL BW 7.4, please?

Thank you for replying to my request.

Yes, the resource http://marketplace.saphana.com/medias/Exploring-SAP-NetWeaver-BW-on-SAP-HANA-in-combination-with-SAP... has got update for the SID of the BW server description compared to the user guide referenced on https://cal.sap.com/console

My goal in exploring the user guide of this CAL is to change the AWS instance into a “spot request” instance. This enable a saving of 90% of the amazon cost which can be appreciated for a POC instance.

Also, I’ve been able to configure the Hana server (SID HDB), I haven’t succeed in configuring the BW server (SID A4H) yet. Do you have any suggestion for documentation on this regard? I’m currently exploring http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-28504 and http://help.sap.com/nwbw

PS: currently the MMC console described on page 11 of the user guide connects only to the Hana server and does NOT connect to the BW server.
