Dear all,
We are doing Fresh installation of Solman 7.1 AIX Oracle in Solman Server.
OS Used: AIX
Database : Oracle.
We have downloaded Solman CDs 7.1 from Service Market Place (SMP ) path.
SMP Path:
Software Downloads---Installations and Upgrades --- SAP Technology Components SAP SOLUTION MANAGER SAP SOLUTION MANAGER 7.1---INSTALLATIONS—AIX---Oracle Database
In the Solution Manager 7.1 place path , CDs available for Oracle is "Oracle RDBMS 11.2.0.3 AIX 64 Bit".
Now Oracle installation stopped with the OS Patch FIX ( OS Patch : IZ97457 and OS Patch IZ89165)as in the attached screenshot.
Only after applying the above OS Patches , oracle installation can be proceeded in Solman Server.
Kindly clarify the below clarifications:
Is Oracle Software CDs 11.2.0.2 available in ServiceMarket Place path. If so please mentionthe path
2) If full Oracle Software CDs available in SMP , Will Solman 7.1 supports Oracle version 11.2.0.2 ??
3)Will Solman Manager 7.1 supports Oracle version 11.2.0.2 ?/
To avoid the OS fix patch, We are asking the above clarifications to avoid further delay in installing or Proceeding WITH solman INSTALLATION.
tHANKS AND rEGARDS,
GAYATHRI.K

Regarding the missing AIX APARS, check the TL level of the AIX as some APARS are part of the patch level even though the script shows that they are missing.

Like I said before there is a possibility that these patches are part of the TL level even though the instfix command shows they are missing.
Oracle Database Preinstallation Tasks
It looks like those patches are present in the TL level you have but I suggest you to check with an AIX specialist to confirm this.
Could you share the error you are getting while installing the Oracle ?

Hi Reagan,
As mentioned above, We have enabled the check box "Ignore ALL"and proceeded with the oracle installation.
Wen we gave "Ignore ALL" and clicked next , we are getting warning msg as in the attached screenshot.
can we give YES and proceed withthe installation . Will it give any OS level impact WITHOUT applying OS patch??
regards,
gayathri.K
Hello Gayathri
Click Yes and continue with the installation.
One more thing: During the installation if there is some error shown by the installer then provide that error. In that case I would recommend to contact an AIX specialist for the missing APARS and check whether they are included in the TL level of the system before you continue with the SAP installation.

Hello Reagan,
Many Thanks for the help .
I have downloaded the OPATCH & MOPatch from SMP
Below are SMP path mentioned:
osindependent [ Oracle" Database
Patches" ---ORACLE PATCHES" ----ORACLE PATCHES 11.2.0.3----> #OS Independent
and
SAP bundled Patch [ Oracle" Database
Patches" ----ORACLE PATCHES"---- ORACLE PATCHES 11.2.0.3--->AIX 64bit--]
From the above two SAP Zip Files ( SAP Bundled patch ) , can u please tel which one to apply in solman server for oracle version 11.2.0.3??
Am i downloading the correct MOPatch and OPatch.
Regards,
Gayathri.K
It is good to apply OS patches and continue with your installation rather than going for lower oracle version. Check the product availability matrix (PAM) for supported OS/DB https://service.sap.com/sap/support/pam?hash=s%3DSAP%2520SOLUTION%2520MANAGER%25207.1%26o%3Dmost_vie...
