Hello experts,
I need to "allocate" costs to individual products based on individual production quantities.
Production Quantity
Apr - 13 May - 13 June -13
Product 1 1000 2000 3000
Product 2 2000 100 1500
Product 3 3000 1000 1000
All Products 6000 3100 5500
cost1 /All products 50000 40000 60000
I am struck at allcating these costs to individual products. How to achieve this in BPC 10.0 NW? My template has "Product" in context selection. I have all the cost values at total of all products in BI. Guide me.
My Template looks as below
Context selections: Product
Apr - 13 May-13 June 13
Actual Actual Actual
Production costs
cost1
cost2
Thanking you in advance
Praveen
Hi Praveen,
For this you need to have an allocation script.
Please refer to the below link from help.sap:

Hope this helps.

Thank you Nilanjan,
Foregive me for i havenot done this allocation before. As far as my understanding is concerned, I need to get these vaues somewhere into BPC first and then based on the allocation logic i need to allocate these values to the required accounts right?
I have many costs which have to be allocated between products. is there any way that i can logically bring those costs ro the respected accouns into BPC on the go from BI itself?
Thanks
Praveen
Hi Praveen,
I am confused with the statement -
"Is there any way that i can logically bring those costs ro the respected accouns into BPC on the go from BI itself"
Do you have the allocated data in BW? If not, how do you intend to bring that data?
In order to get the allocated data, the system must do an allocation, first. This allocation can either be done through script logic, or in the excel using excel functions.
Hope this helps.
