NW Portal 7.3: User mapping for system access

Hi Experts,

I am new to NW Portal. I have a query regarding User mapping for system access tab in User Administration.

We have configured SSO and also able to successfully connect to ECC.

But the issue is, I am unable to do user mapping.

System displays below message.

There are no systems available for user mapping for the selected principal.

Kindly help me out, how I can achieve the same.

I have already done enough research on SCN and tried multiple things, still no go. Please do the needful.

Hi Harish,

4 Steps to User Mapping-

1) Configure SAP NetWeaver Portal to issue logon tickets

2) Configure the portal for user mapping with logon tickets

3) Configure the backend to accept logon tickets

4) Finally, map users to the backend IDs.

Just verify if you missed anything

Hi Atul,

Thanks for your help. I have done all the above mentioned steps.

I resolved the same by giving Group everyone:  read and end user permissions.

Path: Sys Admin - > Permissions - > Portal Content -> System(Mysystem)-> Permissions(Context menu -> open -> Permissions)

Chose Group and searched for everyone and click on add:

Then give Read and tick End User and save.

There you go.

System selection and mapping data is available to do user mapping in User Admin.
