Problem with alert configuration

Hi,

my PI 7.1 system don't send email from alert configuration when there is an error on a message.

I have configured ALRTCATDEF as a Sap documentation.

On PI Mon-> Alert Configuration  rule is active. If I execute a test from report RSALERTTEST the meial is sent.

Any idea?

Hi Quark - Please execute the report "SXMSALERT_LOGREADER "and see if you can find anything in the log.

Also check if you have any unconfirmed alerts by executing the report "RSALERTPROC".

Hi Quark,

Did you check transaction SCOT for SMTP configuration and also check transaction SOST for Alert Mail status.

Hello,

In addition to the above recommendation please also check if "Suppress Multiple Alerts of This Rule" is selected in the rule, if so uncheck it.
